Harry Addison West III was born on June 6th, 1957 in Austin, Texas and passed away on November 29th, 2016 in Houston, Texas at the age of 59. He battled COPD for the last 5 years of his life.
Harry loved fishing and was a great cook, known as the BBQ man. He was good with his hands as a mechanic, woodworker and an inventor.
Harry came to know Jesus in 1991 in the garage with Ken Simon. The next day a white dove flew in and never left his side for 40...

Harry Addison West III was born on June 6th, 1957 in Austin, Texas and passed away on November 29th, 2016 in Houston, Texas at the age of 59. He battled COPD for the last 5 years of his life.
Harry loved fishing and was a great cook, known as the BBQ man. He was good with his hands as a mechanic, woodworker and an inventor.
Harry came to know Jesus in 1991 in the garage with Ken Simon. The next day a white dove flew in and never left his side for 40 days. Then it flew off as quietly as it came into his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Addison West, Jr.; step-sisters, Tonna Hillard and Lonna Jalosky.
Harry is survived by his loving wife, Almeta West; his mother, Jo Nell West; his children, Harry A. West IV and his wife Lytissha, Ashlye West and her husband Leon Bryant, Alyssa Garrett and her husband Westin; seven grandchildren, Amerie, Chloee, Guynivere, Leon, Lacie, Naomi and Alden; sisters, Laurie Thomas and Claudette Rhea; step-sister, Cris West along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 2nd, 2016 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 3rd, 2016 in the Chapel of Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
