Born on December 12,1947 to the parents of Louise Fisher Flagg and Earnest Hayes Sr in Natchitoches LA. Ella started working at a young age to help her mother support the family. These values lasted beyond her years. Baptized at an early age; she meet the love of her life, Sherman Wardsworth Jr. Later bore two kids Jacqueline and Sherman Wardsworth Jr III. They moved to Houston, TX in 1965; United with New Macedonia Church. The first black family in the neighborhood; arising to the cause "We Shall Not be Moved." Yet, Always making sure...

These values lasted beyond her years. Baptized at an early age; she meet the love of her life, Sherman Wardsworth Jr. Later bore two kids Jacqueline and Sherman Wardsworth Jr III. Yet, Always making sure their elders and family in LA & TX were looked after efficiently.
Mrs. Ella worked in the cafeteria for Aldine ISD over 15 years. She also worked diligently with young mothers and youth to educate them on life skills and help them finish high school. Ella had a special gift for baking which lead her to entrepreneurship. Her doors were always open as her heart she had a love for people that graced all who knew her. A certified provider, vitreous mother, friend, babysitter. Ella was passionate about doing more in the lives of children. God answered her prayer and added to the family Kristina, Taknica and Aleisha Wardsworth. She always made new goals to strive for in life.
Mrs. Ella was devote in her service for over30 years at Progressive MBC; deaconess under the leadership of Rev BJ Lewis. A Choir Member, VBS Teacher, Missionary, Cafeteria Leader, Teacher of Children Church, Summer Food Program, Preacher Wife, Elder, Girl Scout Leader, Women's Ministry, Praise Dance Sponsor, Christmas Wish Program Director.
She Joins in Rest her husband of 50 Years Rev. Sherman Wardsworth Jr Parents Louise and Earnest, Brothers Earnest (Rabbit), Calvin Flagg (Tick), Sister Mary Bobb-Gordon, In Laws William Bolt, David Bolt, Gladys Redmond Grand Children Emmanuel Wardsworth, Joshua Penrice, Jocquese Wardsworth, Tre' Mia Bennett, Meghan & Morghan Ballard, Jo' Anna McElhanon Great Grand Children Aaliya, Emma, Benjamin & Anaya Wardsworth.
